Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or human services experience preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required depending on service settings.
• We encourage bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Assists with counseling responsibilities: screening, intake, orientation, referral, counseling, crisis response, patient education, case management, reporting and records.
• Participates in program administrative and clinical committees as assigned.
• Represents the agency to the community.
• Performs quality assurance activities.
• Displays knowledge of addiction/recovery and behavioral health principles of counseling.
