Job summary

Cass Clay Creamery/Kemps LLC in Fargo, ND is hiring for an Overnight Cooler Worker. The role requires working 8:00pm–6:30am on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with a base wage of $26.26 per hour and a $1 night differential for hours 6pm–6am.

You must be able to work in cold conditions (33°F) and lift/push/pull at least 70 pounds. Responsibilities include FIFO product rotation, creating space for production line rotators, maintaining a clean and safe area, driving forklifts for loading

Qualifications

• Able to work in cold conditions (33 degrees) for long periods.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull at least 70 pounds.
• Able to work in loading/unloading trailers and various processes.
• Order picking and checking orders for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Rotate products using FIFO to ensure oldest first.
• Make space for rotators: introduce new product from production line.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow GMP/SOP policies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and gripper forklifts as required.
• Load/unload trailers and prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Complete weekly and monthly work orders for cooler/equipment cleanliness.

Cass Clay Creamery/Kemps LLC. located in Fargo, ND - subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is looking for a full time Overnight Cooler Worker to join our team.

Wage: $26.26/hour, plus $1/hr night differential for hours worked 6pm-6am

Shift/Hours: 8:00pm to 6:30am: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Qualified Candidates must be able to work in cold conditions (33 degrees) for long periods of time and must be able to lift/push/pull at least 70 pounds

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• To help rotate the product and ensure oldest product sent out first (FIFO method).
• Make space available for rotators to put product coming off of productions line.
• Organize work area and help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures, to include reporting any nonconformity.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for working efficiently in various processes and procedures involved with loading and unloading trailers.
• Order picking and checking orders for accuracy.
• Ability to drive forklift, pallet jacks and gripper forklifts.
• Palletizing products for trailer orders and cooler inventory overflow.
• Restocking of incoming product and returns
• Maintain first in, first out procedures.
• Ability to work all picking positions and merge pallet building.
• Building of bossy carts and removal of empty milk cases to proper locations.
• Complete weekly, monthly work orders to maintain cooler and equipment cleanliness.
• Follow GMP, SOP’s.
