Waldorf Astoria Chicago is seeking an Overnight Cook III (Part-Time) in Chicago's Gold Coast to join our luxury hotel team. The role involves preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness.

The position is part-time with overnight shifts and requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Our hotel offers exceptional hospitality and a suite of guest-focused amenities as part of the Hilton brand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Delight our guests by preparing guest orders efficiently and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Execute basic food prep and maintain knowledge of prep work to assist higher-ranked cooks
• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping stations stocked and sanitary
• Manage product and operational needs by mastering kitchen equipment and recipes
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations

Waldorf Astoria Chicago is looking for an Overnight Cook III (Part-Time) to join the team in Chicago's Gold Coast!

Union Position: This position is part of the Local 1 Union which requirescomplete open availability. We cannot accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

• Prepare high-quality dishes: Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards

• Delight our guests: Prepare guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience

• Execute basic food prep: Maintain a strong knowledge of basic prep work and simple cooking tasks (e.g., salads, sides, basic breakfast) to assist higher-ranked cooks

• Inspect and finalize plates: Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols

• Manage product and operational needs: Master kitchen equipment and recipes

• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
