Zaytinya South Beach is seeking overnight cooks to join our team as we bring Chef José Andrés' stories to life in Miami Beach. You will leverage knife skills and technique to prep and run a station during busy service and work with a lively kitchen crew to reproduce menu items.

You should be passionate about learning and stay curious about food, ingredients, and recipes. The role requires night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, standing for long periods, and working holidays and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Abilities & Working Conditions

• This position will spend 100% of the time standing or walking.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Required to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be available to work between the hours of 8 PM to 8 AM.
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision during the overnight hours.
