Job summary

Grace Brethren Village is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 3rd shift full-time team in Englewood, OH. You will provide overnight patient care, assisting with ADLs and ensuring residents’ safety and comfort.

The role requires state CNA certification and offers opportunities for professional growth in a supportive facility environment. Previous CNA experience is preferred but not required; weekend coverage is included.

Qualifications

State certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.
Experience as a CNA is preferred but not required.
Ability to work overnight shifts including every other weekend.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting patients as needed.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
Provide compassionate, dignified care and protect patient privacy.
Assist with patient mobility and safe transfers.
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests.
