Job Summary :

Basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting polishing, and other assigned items/areas. THIS IS A TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT JOB FROM 11PM TO 7AM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning of restrooms includes restocking toilet tissue and other dispensers, emptying trash, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Moving furniture, vacuuming, repositioning furniture, emptying trash, and replacing liners.
• Checking all trash containers prior to moving them.
• Cleaning tasks include dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass.
• Performing additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns.
• Restocking carts and closets at the end of each shift.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Willingness to work the assigned hours.

Compensation: Harvard offers a competitive salary of $17.98 per hour.
