Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Overnight Custodian to maintain locker rooms and all facility areas to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for members. The role focuses on cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring a safe, well-kept space for guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning showers, toilets, and gym areas, stocking supplies, reporting issues to the Club Manager, and following the Lost and Found policy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to work overnight (3rd shift).
• Cleaning/housekeeping/custodial experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize showers, lockers, toilets, changing stalls, and other all locker room areas, as well as fitness equipment and gym floor.
• Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
• Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.
• Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to work overnight (3rd shift)
• Cleaning/Housekeeping/Custodial experience is preferred.Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Ability to work third shift is a must.Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to solve problems independently.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
• Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
