Campus Auxiliary Services, SUNY Geneseo is seeking an Overnight Cleaner to maintain sanitary conditions across on-campus facilities. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work night shifts to support campus operations.

Reports to Facilities Management. This hourly position offers competitive pay at $17.05 per hour and benefits typical for on-campus employment, including health and retirement options, with on-site dining perks and opportunities for career growth.

Formación

• Minimum - High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent experience
• One year experience as a Janitor or Day Cleaner; floor care is desirable but not required

Responsabilidades

• Performs all cleaning tasks necessary to maintain sanitary operation of CAS run facilities (sweeping, dusting, mopping and waxing floors, cleaning bathrooms, washing walls and windows, cleaning kitchen and dining room equipment, cleaning grease traps, exhaust hoods systems)
• May be responsible for inventorying and ordering cleaning products or equipment
• May be required to move CAS equipment such as tables, chairs, and other dining equipment
• Must have thorough knowledge of the NYS health code
• Is responsible for securing the facility assigned to at end of shift
• May be required to assist in production
• Other duties may be assigned to reach goals

PURPOSE

The janitor is responsible for the care and cleaning of one or more facilities operated by CAS, Inc. Perform all cleaning tasks that are necessary to maintain the sanitary operation of CAS run facilities.

Essential Functions

• Performs all cleaning tasks that are necessary to maintain the sanitary operation of CAS run facilities. This includes but is not limited to: sweeping, dusting, moping and waxing floors, cleaning bathroom, washing walls and windows, washing kitchen and dining room equipment, cleaning grease traps, exhaust hoods systems, etc.
• May be responsible for inventorying and ordering cleaning products or equipment
• May be required to move CAS equipment such as but not limited to: tables and chairs, and other dining equipment
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the NYS health code
• Is responsible for securing the facility they are assigned to at the end of their shift each night
• May be required to assist in production

Education And Experience
