Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development or a closely related field
• Completion of child life internship
• Certified Child Life Specialist, by exam, within one year of hire
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide essential life experiences, family support and education to patients and families
• Collaborate with other health care providers and community to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment
