As a Fill Center Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll bring your skills and expertise to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions, support Pharmacists, and ensure the pharmacy operates smoothly and effectively.

Job Description

Overnight Central Fill Technicians enjoy:

• Set Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
• Competitive Pay: $20.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
• Bonus Incentive: $1000 Bonus at 6 months!

Job Requirements

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Knowledge of drug handling protocols and best practices in a time-sensitive fulfillment process
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 10 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years old

Job Responsibilities

• Remove out-of-date and expired medications following proper procedures.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Report errors, omissions, and incidents to the Pharmacist on duty.
• Assist in the preparation and filling of prescriptions under supervision.
• Prepare and fill non-auto counted drugs accurately.
• Label bottles and prepackaged items correctly.
• Replenish canisters with necessary consumables for prescription fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Identify, address, and escalate system issues.
• Follow all company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA.
• Operate semi-automatic cabinets to fill customer orders.
• Maintain production rates and quality standards as directed by leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
