Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a Third Shift Center Store Leader to manage all duties of Center Store operations and drive financial and sales goals. You will build strong relationships with associates and customers, promote a service-driven culture, and ensure safety and quality standards across the department.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to supervise overnight/evening shifts while training staff in forklift and power jack operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Must have effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and complete forklift and power jack training.

Responsibilities

• Manage all duties and responsibilities of the Third Shift Center Store Associates.
• Effectively manage Center Store operations to meet financial and sales goals.
• Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of Hannaford Strategy.
• Lead and coach staff to achieve department metrics and standards.
• Ensure department conditions involving appearance, quality, safety and food safety are maintained at high level.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory and scheduling.
• Communicate department and company policies to associates.
