Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is seeking a Waste Collection CDL Driver for our Jersey City Depot servicing NYC routes. This full-time, Union position involves safely operating a rear-loading truck, performing inspections, and maintaining communication with customers. Candidates must have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and applicable traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rear-loading truck for waste collection.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Monitor for safety and service-related issues.
