DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dress appropriately for the elements, including wearing PPE as required
• Perform physical activities such as loading, unloading, sorting, and moving products and materials manually or using basic equipment
• Operate, navigate, and drive all company fleet vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws
• Plan delivery routes in coordination with the shipping supervisor to maximize efficiency
• Meet or exceed delivery deadlines through effective route planning
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions for assignments
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Follow DOT policies on load securement, transportation of dangerous goods, and commercial vehicle operation
• Provide on-the-job training to new or junior drivers as needed
• Complete incident reports related to health and safety issues

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Current Commercial Driver License (CDL) required

• Customer service experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum age for drive-for-hire endorsement varies by state and insurance regulations

Final candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
