Position Summary: Specializes in providing outstanding service to customers while running a register and working on the sales floor; ensures that items meet the required stock levels and presentation standards; and that cleanliness and safety standards are met or exceeded. Greets customers in a friendly manner and suggestively sells products to help increase sales.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Provides positive, personalized customer service by greeting each customer in a friendly manner, assisting with purchases, suggestively selling, and making sure products are available for purchase.
2. Runs a Point of Sale (POS) system and monitors customer lines to expedite the sales process; interrupts all other activity when customer service is needed.
3. Maintains knowledge of products and services offered by the company and promotes new programs.
4. Adheres to regulations and prohibits the sale of age-restricted products to underage individuals.
5. Responds to customer requests, follows satisfaction guidelines, and forwards concerns to management.
6. Cleans and maintains the store area, including counters, equipment, floors, cabinets, and external areas; performs light maintenance duties.
7. Helps ensure equipment is operating correctly and communicates maintenance needs to management.
8. Follows applicable policies and procedures, including grooming, cleanliness, and professional appearance as outlined in the company handbook.
9. Maintains a safe environment and complies with health and sanitation practices.
10. Ensures proper stock levels, dating, and rotation of food products and supplies.
11. Attends training programs and assists in training fellow associates.
12. Reports all worked hours for proper compensation.
13. Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:
