Job summary

Visiting Angels - Gilford seeks compassionate Overnight Caregivers to provide safe, respectful, at-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. Night shifts are available with both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Ideal candidates are dependable, patient, and comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required, with CNA/LNA certification or experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Active automobile insurance required.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation.
• CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and reassurance throughout the night.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with nighttime routines and morning preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
• Monitor client safety and report changes in condition.
• Run errands or provide transportation when required.
• Document care and shift information using a smartphone.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship and reassurance throughout the night
