Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support an 81-year-old client with Parkinson’s during the night shift in Encinitas, CA. The primary focus is fall prevention and keeping the client safe and comfortable overnight.

The schedule is 9:00pm–8:00am, seven days a week, in a home care setting with paid training and a 24/7 support team. Location is Encinitas, CA with overnight duties and a strong emphasis on safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification preferred, but not required.
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) or willingness to register upon hire.
• Valid negative TB test within 90 days or within 7 days of hire.
• Experience with Parkinson’s or mobility assistance is a plus.
• Kind, patient and reliable attitude required.

• Assistance with nighttime mobility and transfers.
• Gentle companionship and standby assistance.

Are you a compassionate caregiver who enjoys providing one-on-one support? Cornerstone Caregiving is looking for a dedicated Home Care Aide to assist an 81-year-old client with Parkinson’s during the night shift in Encinitas.

The primary focus for this role is fall prevention and ensuring our client stays safe and comfortable throughout the night.

Location: Encinitas, CA
Shift: Overnight / Nights

Schedule:

9:00pm - 8:00am (7 days/week)

Client Needs:

• Active safety monitoring and fall prevention.

• Assistance with nighttime mobility and transfers.

• Gentle companionship and standby assistance.

Requirements:

• CNA or HHA (Preferred, but not required)

• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) or willingness to register upon hire.
