TruCare Community is seeking an Overnight Caregiver for a senior facility in Long Beach, CA. This full-time role covers a 10pm-6:30am schedule at Villa Redondo, offering $17.00–$19.00 per hour and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Pass DOJ/FBI live scan criminal background clearance.
• Pass pre-employment physical and TB test clearance.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts.
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in ADLs.
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician or medical professional.
• Coordinate with medical staff to reduce pain and promote engagement and independence.
• Maintain composure during emergencies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and Wellness Coordinator about changes or concerns.
• Complete outstanding paperwork including filing, logging medication and central records.
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration.

Schedule Needed:

NOC Shift (10pm-6:30am, Fri-Mon)

Villa Redondo is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers who have the passion to help the elderly and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing


• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance


• High school diploma or GED required


• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred


• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Job Description:

• Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)


• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.


• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional.


• Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.


• Maintains good composure during emergencies and maintains a safe work environment.


• Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns


• Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record


• Additional duties as assigned by Administration
