Job summary

Visiting Angels - Gilford seeks compassionate Overnight Caregivers to provide safe, respectful, at-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. Night shifts are available with both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Ideal candidates are dependable, patient, and comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required, with CNA/LNA certification or experience a plus.

Qualifications

Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor.
Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
Active automobile insurance required.
Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation.
CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus.
Dementia/Alzheimer’s experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and reassurance throughout the night.
Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with nighttime routines and morning preparation.
Provide medication reminders.
Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
Monitor client safety and report changes in condition.
Run errands or provide transportation when required.
Document care and shift information using a smartphone.
