Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Traverse City is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to provide compassionate, awake overnight care for seniors in their homes. You will stay alert through the night, monitor safety, assist with mobility, toileting, and evening routines, and document care for the team.

Qualifications

• Must have caregiving experience (home care, CNA, HHA, etc.).
• Must be able to stay awake and alert for the entire overnight shift.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, awake overnight supervision.
• Assist with toileting, mobility, and repositioning as needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor safety and respond to client needs during the night.
• Light housekeeping and morning routine assistance.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
