Homewatch CareGivers of St. Pete Beach is seeking compassionate overnight caregivers to provide one-on-one care for clients in their homes during 8–12-hour overnight shifts in the St. Petersburg area.

You will assist with nighttime routines, provide supervision, and help clients start their morning safely. The role emphasizes dependable, compassionate care and maintaining safety and dignity in the home setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with nighttime and morning routines (toileting, grooming, bed transfers).

About the Role

Homewatch CareGivers of St. Pete Beach is seeking compassionate and dependable overnight caregivers to provide high-quality, one-on-one care for clients in their homes during 8–12-hour overnight shifts.

You will assist clients with their nighttime routines, provide supervision and support throughout the night, and help them begin their morning safely. Your presence provides comfort and peace of mind to clients and their families.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with nighttime and morning routines, including toileting, changing, grooming, and getting into or out of bed
• Supporting clients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Providing overnight supervision, companionship, and reassurance
• Preparing light meals, snacks, or breakfast when needed
• Maintaining a clean, calm, and safe environment throughout the night
• Responding promptly when clients need assistance
• Documenting care and reporting concerns or changes in condition to the care team

Requirements

• CPR and BLS certification
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
• At least 21 years of age
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license
• Home Health Aide certificate
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
• Experience with mobility assistance, transfers, and fall-risk prevention

Job Details

• Position Type: Part-time
• Schedule: Overnight shifts
• Shift Length: 8–12 hours
• Typical Hours: Shifts generally begin between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. and end between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m.
• Location: St. Petersburg area—in-person client care only
• Service Area: St. Petersburg and surrounding communities, including St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park
• Availability: Weekend availability may be requested
• Exact schedules vary according to each client’s needs
