Responsibilities

• Perform front-line security functions.
• Assist with facilitating communication among the security team.
• Protect property from threats including graffiti, vandalism, larceny, burglary, trespass.
• Monitor the building fire alarm and coordinate evacuations during alarms.
• Email a daily report detailing events to the security team.
• Notify appropriate staff of emergencies, property damage or alarms.
• Ensure staff and visitors adhere to policies and procedures.
• Screen entrants with a metal detector at lobby entrances.
• Communicate with staff and other security personnel via radios and Teams.
• Greet guests entering the building.
• Perform minimal administrative tasks for the security department.
