Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Temporary Housekeeper for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will perform cleaning across campus facilities, including offices, classrooms, lounges and housing areas, with duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and trash removal.

The role is Full-Time Temporary with Sunday–Thursday hours; overtime and weekend work may be required. Prior cleaning experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are beneficial; PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
• Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work.
• NOTE : Some positions may require special licenses or certification.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Daily, routine, and detailed cleaning of assigned campus building interior and exterior areas.
• Offices, lounges, restrooms, student housing, classrooms, laboratories, entrances, exits, and stairways.
• Follow safety requirements and wear PPE as required.
