Versant is looking for motivated producers to join its MS NOW team in New York City. This role will thrive in breaking news situations, producing segments for timely broadcasts and digital platforms. Candidates must have a strong journalism background with a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience.

The position offers a competitive salary of $93,000 - $110,000 yearly and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in some form of journalism required.
• Demonstrated experience producing taped news packages or segments.
• Edit room experience and breaking news experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating live segments during breaking news coverage.
• Producing taped news packages for Morning Joe.
• Assisting in the control room during breaking news situations.
