Job summary

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking Hospital Service Technicians for the third shift (10pm-8:30am, 4 days a week).

This full-time role handles shipment and delivery of blood products while ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs, and delivering exceptional service to hospitals and clients. Starting hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.60, with shift differential for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and on-call hours.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping notices and records to determine priorities and methods.
• Receive and carry out hospital blood orders.
• Inspect and evaluate blood products for safety and potency.
• Package and deliver blood products to service area clients or other agencies.
• Run errands and transport supplies as needed.
• Assist team leader with resolving problems per SOP.
• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
