Job summary

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa in Orlando, FL is seeking a Bell Services Agent to welcome guests and assist with luggage, directions, and hotel services. You will escort guests to rooms, explain features, and help coordinate messages and deliveries to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Background checks and a valid FL driver's license are required.

Job Description

As a Bell Services Agent, you will:

• Escortincoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Inspectguests’ room to ensure furnishings are in order and supplies are adequate.
• Explainfeatures of room such as operation of radio, television, and night-lock, and how to place telephone calls.
• Pageguests in lobby, dining room, or other parts of hotel.
• Delivermessages, runs errand and room service orders.
• Pickup articles for laundry and valet service.
• Transportguests about premises or local areas in car or motorized cart.
• Keeprecord of calls for service.
• Deliverluggageand sets up sample rooms.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
