Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings.

The role emphasizes safety, daily living skills, social engagement, and behavior management, with an overnight schedule from 11:00pm to 7:00am. You will help residents build routines, monitor wellbeing, and document changes under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 1 year of work experience or self-employment preferred.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license at hire with ability to obtain Class E MO license within 60 days.
• Experience as CNA or CMA encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as vital signs and personal needs assistance.
• Administer medication after certification as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
