Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor) to support adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings. You will ensure safety, well-being, and daily success through hands-on help with daily living skills, social engagement, and behavior management.

This role offers exposure to behavioral health, psychology, or social services and suits anyone who enjoys helping others live healthier, more independent lives.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment required.
• Valid driver's license required with ability to obtain MO Class E license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills and daily routines.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior or mood.
• Provide basic care and assistance with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
