Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician (Overnights) at the Southwest Psychiatric Facility in El Dorado Springs. This full-time role supports adults with behavioral health needs in residential or community settings, with a Thursday-Monday schedule from 10:45pm to 7:15am totaling 40 hours per week.

You will assist with daily living skills, behavior management, safety, and documentation while helping create a structured, supportive environment.

Qualifications

High School/GED required.
At least one year of work experience or self-employment required.
A valid unrestricted driver's license at time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license by end of 60-day introductory period.

Responsibilities

Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
Complete documentation accurately and on time.
