Job summary

Amatus Health in Bethlehem, NH is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the 3rd shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM). You will be a vital link between clients and the clinical team, helping create a safe, supportive environment for individuals in recovery.

You will assist with admissions, coordinate transportation, answer questions, and help clients adjust to daily routines while reporting changes in wellbeing to the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment and professional conduct.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients.
• Assist with admissions, orientations, and intake processes.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication during client admissions.
• Complete accurate and timely shift reports and checklists.
• Facilitate orientation groups and support client engagement.
• De-escalate situations and assist clients in challenging moments including AMA/ACA departures.
• Monitor client whereabouts through regular headcounts.
• Oversee safety during family visits and support medical staff during medication pass if needed.
