Job summary
Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center is seeking an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to support adolescents in a residential behavioral health program in Arizona. Work is full-time, 11pm–7am, with weekend availability.
A signing bonus and retention bonus are offered, along with comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include maintaining safety on campus, supervising daily activities, and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must pass a thorough background check and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2+ combined years of education or related experience in Human Services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety, accountability and security of campus.
- Teach, coach and supervise students in activities of daily living including morning, bedtime and overnight procedures, hygiene and cleanliness, housekeeping, meals, intramurals, sports, academics, and extracurricular activities both on and off campus.
- Observe peer culture for patterns indicating progress or regression in the program.
- Observe individual student behavior over time and recognize progress towards treatment goals.
- Effectively communicate, both written and orally.
- Follow and implement individual treatment plans for all students.
- Recognize escalating behaviors and intervene at the appropriate level to ensure safety and security.
