Job summary

Center For Discovery in Del Mar, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech II to support patients through admission to discharge. You will assist with daily routines, supervise safety, lead psychoeducational groups, and help implement treatment plans alongside clinical staff.

The role requires driving capability, a valid license, and delivering compassionate care during night shifts Tuesday to Saturday 10:00pm-6:30am. Compensation ranges from $21 to $24 per hour, plus benefits where offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred
• One or more years experience working within mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all DBH policies and procedures
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality
• Facilitates patient daily needs and activities
• Supports patient during admission and discharge processes
• Maintains shift notes and documentation
• Provides transportation services including patient transportation/supervision
