Job summary

Thoroughbred Wellness & Recovery in Georgia is hiring full-time overnight RNs and LPNs to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in detox and residential mental health settings. You will perform assessments, monitor vital signs and withdrawal status, administer medications, document clearly, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to support treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Experience in detox or behavioral health preferred.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and medication support to guests in detox and residential mental health settings.
• Complete nursing assessments, monitor clinical status, and identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by licensed providers.
• Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, mental health status, and overall wellness.
• Accurately document assessments, medication administration, incidents, and clinical observations.
• Respond promptly to medical concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse leadership, therapists, and behavioral health staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and continuity of care processes.
• Maintain infection control, confidentiality, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Help create a calm, respectful, and recovery-focused environment.
