Job summary

Optimum Performance Institute in Woodland Hills, CA seeks a Behavioral Health Advisor to support young adults in a live-in style setting, with Sunday–Tuesday night shifts and a $23.00 hourly wage. You will build connections, mentor residents, and create engaging activities that promote growth and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• At least two years in a residential setting, mental health facility, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with residents to foster growth, emotional regulation, and independence.
• Assist residents in setting and achieving meaningful goals while monitoring progress and safety.
• Plan and lead group activities for community engagement, skill development, and wellness.
• Provide crisis intervention and document residents' progress in compliance with laws.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development to stay current in best practices.
