Job Description

We are seeking a Banquet Setup Houseperson to join our team at the Omni William Penn Hotel. This role involves preparing and maintaining meeting rooms and banquet spaces to ensure a pristine environment for our guests. Join Pittsburgh’s premier hotel and be part of our esteemed team!

Responsibilities

1. Set up and clean all meeting and banquet rooms.
2. Arrange tables, chairs, and equipment according to event specifications.
3. Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events.
4. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Availability for overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, from 10:30 PM onwards.
2. Ability to lift up to 300 lbs.
3. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
4. Must be available to work all days of the week.

Compensation and Benefits

• Union rate starting at $15.68, increasing to $16.55 after 3 months, and $17.42 after 6 months, plus a $0.30/hour differential for overnight shifts.
• Full benefits package available after 90 days.
