Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a Bakery position in the store to provide friendly customer service while producing a range of breads, pastries, cookies, and doughnuts following established recipes. You will weigh and portion dough, proof and bake, and prepare display cases with stocked items.

Training is provided at store level. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for 4–8 hours per shift, with emphasis on safety and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Friendly customer service experience in a retail/bakery setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience in handling inventory and stocking shelves.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Prepare breads, rolls, doughnuts, and pastries per recipes.
• Weigh and portion dough, mold shapes, and bake using oven.
• Inspect products for quality and adjust processes as needed.
• Prepare and package baked goods; rotate stock and display items.
• Record inventory and assist with stock orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work area following company procedures.
