Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Woburn, MA is seeking an Overnight Awake Counselor for our Developmental Disabilities residential program serving adults with intellectual disabilities.

The role requires awake night coverage to support residents, promote daily living skills, and ensure safety. The position includes medication administration, morning routines support, and ongoing training to empower personal growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to drive residence van; MA driver’s license and own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support residents providing assistance and intervention as needed.
• Assist individuals with morning routines including meal preparation, hygiene and related tasks.
• Administer medication in accordance with regulations.
• Perform housekeeping and personal care tasks as needed.
• Provide support and training to promote personal growth and accomplishment (social, behavioral, and personal care).
• Report significant health, safety, and behavioral concerns.

Eliot is seeking an Overnight Awake Counselor to join our Developmental Disabilities (DD) residential program serving adults with intellectual disabilities. Our residential programs offer a person-centered continuum of services that provides innovative and high quality programming to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The program offers support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, develop social and daily living skills, and build social and community connections. This position requires the candidate to be awake, alert, and available to individuals throughout the course of the night providing assistance and support as needed.

• Perform housekeeping and personal care tasks as needed
• Provide support and training to promote personal growth and accomplishment (may include social, behavioral, and personal care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities
• Ability to drive residence van
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle

Schedules:

• Thursday & Saturday, 11pm-9am (20 hours)

Hourly Rate

$19.50 - $19.50 USD
