Job summary

Bellefaire JCB in Ohio is seeking an Autism Treatment Specialist for the Monarch Boarding Academy to deliver behavioral interventions, document client progress, and support clients in daily living activities.

You will work on the 3rd shift (overnight hours) with an interdisciplinary team, following ITP goals and safety procedures to promote positive outcomes for youth with ASD. Bellefaire offers healthcare, tuition discounts, 403(b) and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and child/adolescent development.
• Independent judgment and initiative in job responsibilities.
• Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Clear verbal, written and nonverbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate behavior intervention plans and instructional program designs based on ITP goals.
• Observe, describe, and document client behavior data using multiple measurements for data collection.
• Provide care and support for clients including daily living activities and personal care assistance.
• Utilize structured activity schedules to support daily routines with predictability.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and follow treatment guidelines and procedures.
• Lead planned daily activities to progress treatment goals and client development.
• Protect clients using safety measures when imminent risk is present.
• Respond to emergencies and document clinical observations in records.
