Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Ithaca, NY is hiring a Bakery team member to help bake, package, and present a range of breads, bagels, and sweet treats. You’ll work in a fast-paced, customer-focused bakery that values teamwork and quality.

You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service, answer questions, and maintain clean, inviting displays. Shifts cover mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with training provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full-time schedule including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods.
• Provide exceptional customer service and answer customer questions promptly.
• Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and aisles clean and well-stocked.
• Follow proper stocking and merchandising techniques to maintain product freshness.
• May assist with unloading deliveries and stocking cases, displays, and backroom coolers.
