Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in laundry, manufacturing, logistics, commercial laundry, or distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of PPOH, cost control, and workflow optimization.
• Experience in high-volume, time-sensitive environments.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laundry operations across receiving, sorting, washing, folding, and distribution.
• Monitor labor, productivity (PPOH), and cost metrics.
• Prepare daily KPIs, labor reports, operating logs, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with Engineering to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Train, coach, and support staff on production methods and safety procedures.
• Assist in hiring, training, reviews, and disciplinary processes.
• Support OSHA compliance and regulatory training.

GENERAL PURPOSEThe Assistant Production Manager oversees performance, output, and safety during an assigned shift. This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast-paced environment.
