Wegmans in Pennsylvania is seeking an Overnight Grocery Team Leader to help run the overnight replenishment for daytime readiness. You will lead a team, ensure product availability, and uphold Wegmans' service standards while working in a fast-paced overnight environment.

You will develop leadership skills, learn our values and measures, and drive performance through training, communication, and teamwork across shifts.

As an Overnight Grocery Team Leader with Wegmans, you’ll join the largest area of the store, playing an integral part in the success of the overnight operations team, ensuring each team member is working towards replenishment of products to meet the daytime needs of our customers. Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium to heavy. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, frequent heavy lifting, shelving of product, repetitive hand, and arm movements, bending, and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 8 – 32 pounds with a maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate to moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors. Basic tools and equipment used include box cutter, hand/power jack, walkie reach/hi-lo, compactor, baler, and u-cart.; Experience ordering products and controlling inventory; Experience coordinating daily work of others; Experience working overnight hours; Managerial/supervisory experience living our values and achieving results in our 5 measures; Customer Service experience, preferably in a food service industry, grocery or retail setting
