Overnight and Weekend Behavioral Health Technician

• Provide patient and kind assistance to all clients.

Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.

Follows infection control guidelines at all times.

Completes and forwards incident reports and any other staff/risk issues immediately to the director.

Attends all Time Treatment Center staff meetings and mandatory in-services.

Provides a safe therapeutic environment for clients and staff.

Supervises self-administered medications.

Oversees implementation of daily/weekly structure for community housing clients as developed by the director of housing.

Maintains positive working relationships with TIME staff and consumers.

Reports personal symptoms of suspected illness or contagious diseases to the director.

Monitors and observes clients' behavior, documents observations, and keeps track of all clients.

Reports at the end of shift to the director via email.

Answers calls on the company phone during shift.

Reports medical emergencies, elopements, or ACA incidents to the director immediately.

Transports clients to outside activities, shopping, support groups, appointments, airports, and other facilities using the company van.

Orientates new clients to the facility and completes housing intake packets, ensuring all documents are signed.

Searches new admissions' belongings to prevent contraband and secures valuables and medications.

Prepares residential apartments for new clients, ensuring cleanliness.

Requests and reports supplies needed at the facility and residential areas to the director.

Ensures apartments are kept clean and are cleaned when necessary.

Follows ethical guidelines in accordance with Tennessee state regulations.

Keeps tech offices clean and organized.

Provides safety checks at apartments and reports risks to the director.

Performs random searches at residential facilities for contraband.

Monitors residential clients' curfews and adherence to rules.

Is trained and confident in taking blood pressure, hand washing, and medication observation.
