Maintenance Technician - Miami Airport

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support an advanced automated transportation system at Miami Airport. Join our dynamic team and work with a variety of electrical and mechanical systems to help keep people moving safely and efficiently every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

Be a key player in keeping a vital transportation system running at its best. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs that keep everything operating smoothly. Build skills through hands‑on fixes, team projects, and front‑line system performance tasks. Respond quickly to alerts and ensure reliable, day‑to‑day operations, directly impacting a safe and seamless rider experience.

This is a full‑time hourly position for the overnight shift (10:00-6:00 am). Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience and certifications, with a 15% shift differential for overnight work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Basic technical knowledge or hands‑on experience in mechanical or electrical systems
• Ability to assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Able to read and understand basic instructions, diagrams, or manuals
• Willingness to work in different environments, including indoors and outdoors
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)

Desired Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance and repair experience
