Job summary

Allied Universal in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Management. You will safeguard clients across transportation sites, manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent service to drivers, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, coordinating with site personnel, responding to incidents, and performing regular security patrols to deter unauthorized activity while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in line with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials and maintaining records.
• Observe vehicle movements, coordinate deliveries, and report unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following site procedures and documenting actions.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
