TechServ Engineering in Tyler, TX seeks Transmission Line Engineer to support overhead high‑voltage line design, routing, structure evaluation, conductor selection, and drawings per client standards.

The role collaborates with Substation, Civil, project management, environmental/permitting, survey teams and requires proficiency with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE/TOWER, AutoCAD or MicroStation, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year university.
• Valid Driver's License and US work eligibility.
• Experience in electric utility transmission-line engineering preferred; FE/EIT or PE preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering and design for new transmission lines and rebuilds.
• Develop alignments, plan-and-profile drawings, structure lists and documentation.
• Perform sag-tension, clearance, loading, and structural analyses.
• Coordinate transmission-line interfaces with substations and other disciplines.
• Provide engineering support during construction and respond to technical questions.
