Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Overhead SIGINT Mission Engineer to join a high-performing team developing innovative approaches to applying overhead SIGINT capabilities for national security challenges. You will work with analysts to create comprehensive tasking plans and apply current and future SIGINT knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years relevant experience.
• Understanding of DOD/IC satellite systems and architectures.
• Understanding overhead SIGINT collection missions.
• Prior overhead SIGINT mission and/or acquisition experience.
• Ability to work in ambiguous problem sets.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including executive briefings and papers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a government/contractor team environment.
• Strong networking, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed knowledge of current overhead SIGINT capabilities in support of mission analysis, modeling, and CONOP development
• Coordinate reach back to additional subject matter experts as required
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive overhead SIGINT tasking plans
• Liaise with mission analysis and technical requirements teams
• Support development of SIGINT-level architectures and integration of new capabilities
• Support periodic customer reviews
• Support the development of strategic, executive communications, and decision briefings in support of customer priorities, acquisitions, and missions
• Other duties as assigned
