Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking an instructor to manage classrooms and deliver competency-based instruction, coordinating with academic departments to create engaging, outcome-focused training. The role supports students in job placement, military education, and post-secondary credentials.

The instructor will develop interactive lessons, maintain relevant plans, and build industry partnerships to enhance work-based learning opportunities for learners in career development programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and practical situations such as probability, statistical inference, and proportions.
• State driver’s license recommended.
• Certification/experience in vocational trades preferred; instructor certification may be required by relevant trades organizations.

• Minimum of Associates Degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred


• At least two years' related experience


• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and practical situations such as probability, statistical inference, and proportions


• Valid State Driver’s License recommended
