Job summary

PIKE Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑focused Foreman to lead a crew in constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de‑energized lines, travel to different sites, and report to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include coaching crew members, ensuring quality and deadlines, performing live‑line work with proper PPE, and maintaining equipment. Valid CDL and 5 years of overhead line experience required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Proficient in basic computer operations including Microsoft Word.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work for extended periods at job locations, including out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew and conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines; ensure safe work procedures.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Climb structures and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and insulated equipment handling.
