Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment. This is a daily onsite role for a large client in Rincon, GA.

The candidate should have 3-4 years of crane service technician experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel and work in production environments while using a company phone/computer and completing

• Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Willing to travel and work in production environments.
• Must be able to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, including holidays, as required.

Description

The Service Technician II will travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

This is a daily onsite position for a large client in Rincon, GA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-4 years of crane service technician experience.
• Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments.
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
• Lift/Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Possess the ability to hear.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Subject to working frequently at considerable heights
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
