Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is seeking a Production / Overhead Crane Operator at our Fort Pierce, FL facility. You will safely operate remote-controlled cranes, move precast components and molds, and support production in a fast-paced environment while complying with OSHA and ASME standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of crane experience, NCCCO certification or ability to obtain, blueprints literacy, and reliable teamwork to keep lines running and quality high.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of overhead crane experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.
• Valid NCCCO Overhead Crane Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to read blueprints and load charts.
• Strong safety awareness and OSHA/ASME knowledge.
• Ability to work overtime and in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and hand-signal proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate remote-controlled overhead cranes to lift and position heavy components.
• Inspect loads and rigging to ensure safe lifting within capacities.
• Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals.
• Assist in staging materials and moving forms, cages, and molds.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report equipment issues.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and yard teams to minimize downtime.
