Job summary

Sustainable Staffing Inc. in Slinger, WI is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler to safely load and unload steel plates using a 10-ton overhead crane and to assist in laser table operations.

You will move materials with a forklift, drive yard truck as needed, complete ERP paperwork, and maintain a safety-driven, reliable work attitude on a Mon-Fri 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. shift. Pay is up to $27.00 per hour, BOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Experience with using at least a 5-ton crane.
• Good math and computer skills.
• Experience with using tape measure and caliper.
• Safety driven.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times
• Utilize 10-ton overhead crane to load/unload steel plate from trucks
• Load and unload steel plate on to Laser and Kinetic tables
• Utilize forklift to move pallets and parts
• Driving yard truck and trailer to move plates between buildings
• Complete required paperwork with our ERP system

Job Position: Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler

Location: Slinger, WI 53086

Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/hr BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The material handler will use an overhead crane to lift steel plate on and off a Laser machine. They will have to step up on the machine and step down several times per day. The person will also kneel and bend down several times per day to gather burned pieces and palletize them by job.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times
